Home Textiles & Heavy Woolens

Banish dust and allergens from heavy mink blankets, quilts, and curtains using professional sanitizing washes.

Hygienic Care for Heavy Fabrics

Heavy blankets, double quilts (razais), mink quilts, and drapes accumulate fine dust, pet dander, and microscopic allergens over months of use. Standard household washing machines lack the mechanical space and water volume to soak, clean, and rinse these bulky textiles properly. At Gopalsons, we utilize high-capacity commercial washing plants with temperature-controlled sanitizing cycles to flush away deeply embedded grime.

For heavy woolens, trench coats, and blankets, we use custom anti-dust mite solutions and fabric conditioners. This prevents static cling, keeps natural wool fibers fluffy, and maintains their warming loft. Every quilt and curtain panel is carefully folded and sealed inside dust-proof storage packaging.

Our Process Flow

1

Check & Cuff Spotting

We review drapes for sun damage and inspect seams on quilts. Cuffs of heavy coats and lower margins of curtain panels are pre-treated for heavy soil lines.

2

High-Volume Wash Cycle

Items are cleaned in oversized commercial drum washers. We apply specialized organic sanitizing detergents that break down dirt at safe temperatures.

3

Soft Loft Drying

Quilts and blankets are tumble dried in high-capacity dryers. The warm airflow fluffs up matted cotton or mink fibers to restore their heat retention.

4

Hygienic Storage Bags

Clean blankets and drapes are checked, folded, and packed in clear, thick polyethylene storage bags to keep them dust-free until winter.
